Whitney Houston Back in Rehab

Whitney Houston is probably best known as an iconic singer with an incredible voice. What some people may not realize is that she has been in and out of rehab for an extremely long time now. 


The 47 year old singer has been battling alcohol and drug addiction for several years now and after being released from a rehabilitation facility she has reportedly signed into another facility to deal with these unresolved problems. 


Her decision was reportedly made after a night of partying after she saw a Prince Concert. Obviously the singer went a little overboard and decided that the best thing to do for herself was to check back into rehab. 


Noticing a trend in celebrity rehab check ins one can only see that stardom does have its downfalls. Being in the spotlight is definitely not an easy thing to do and handle and sometimes the only thing you can do is realize that you need help. Thankfully Houston has made this realization.

Osama Bin Laden: Dead At Last

Osama Bin Laden, leader of the terrorist group, Al Qaeda, has finally been killed.


I think of this man as a fail because of what he has done to this country. Anyone who can kill people without feeling guilty is less of a man than he thinks he is. And now, after years of searching and waiting the murderer has finally gotten what he deserved. 


Here is what went down. On Sunday May 1, 2011, U.S Navy Seals went into a secret location in Abbottabad, Pakistan because of a lead they had been following for a while. They then proceeded to shoot and kill Osama's son, advisors, and the leader himself. A women was also caught in the crossfire that was exchanged. Al Qaeda actually only shot two bullets at the Seals who are now known as national heroes because of the work they did. 


Osama's demise was greeted with hundreds of thousands of ecstatic citizens who rejoiced the falling of this horrible man. People in Washington D.C. crowded around the White House singing patriotic songs and celebrating. 


Barack Obama, himself, appeared to America late Sunday night to tell the nation what actually happened. In his speech he said how the families of people who died on 9/11 could now rest peacefully knowing that the battle was ending. But now what will Al Qaeda do to avenge their fallen leader? It is scary to think that all they have to do is retaliate to potentially cause a war greater than the one thats currently going down oversees. One can only hope that now that the groups leader is gone the group itself will dissolve into a thousand pieces.

Lindsay's Landslide

Lindsay Lohan has definitely been through so much that its hard to remember that the celebrity actually  started out as a cute little red-head in the movie, The Parent Trap.


Lohan has definitely had her fair share of the limelight. As a child star, she was thrown into the hustle and bustle of Hollywood at such an early age that a meltdown was basically unavoidable. She started out doing commercials and guest starring on TV shows but her major break was the movie, The Parent Trap where she played both twins who get into trouble trying to get their parents back together. 


After that she was signed with Disney for a three movie contract and acted in movies like Herbie: Fully Loaded, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. It was during filming the movie Herbie that things for her started going downhill. 


In 2006, Lohan admitted to attending Alcoholics Anonymous meeting to help her with drinking problems she had been struggling with. Even though she had suffered from Asthma since the age of two she was also an avid smoker. On May 26 of 2007 Lohan was arrested for a DUI and entered Rehab. Police also stated that Cocaine was found hidden inside the car she was driving. When she left rehab, Lohan was given a SCRAM bracelet that would monitor her sobriety. As if this was not enough Lohan was arrested for another DUI and sent back to rehab only a few months later. She has admitted to Cocaine use and has also been charged with stealing an expensive necklace. 


Lohan has been through quite a lot if I do say so myself. The worst part is that this is not even all the problems she has gone through. There is so much more that basically lead to a slopping landslide of destruction. Her life is quite unstable and so is she.

Oh Rebecca Black, where can I begin? 


Rebecca Black is a 13 year old girl from Anaheim Hills, California. She is most widely known...actually she is ONLY known for her music video, Friday. 


It is a video where basically a girl (Black) wakes up and realizes that it is, indeed, Friday. She proceeds to eat her cereal and tries to catch the bus. That is, until, all her friends drive up in their convertible and motion for her to jump in. Now is the real dilemma. What seat should she take?!? Black thinks about this important question even though there is clearly someone sitting in the front seat already. Now the real fun begins. Black and all her super cool friends (who are obviously way to young to drive) start driving around town and end up at a party where she is obviously the guest of honor. There are dance scenes and scenes where she is talking to all her friends then the video switches to a middle aged rapper who is driving around town looking for a good time. I do not know about you, but this to me sounds extremely sketchy. He raps about how it is Friday and then the video ends with her rocking out on a bench surrounded by all her peers who seem to be enjoying her song. Thats it. 


100 million people have now seen this viral explosion. About 90 percent hate is and some call it "the worst song ever made," which I personally believe is true. The teen, in fact had the video made for $4,000 by ARK Music Factory. She has been on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and is supposedly in the process of signing a record deal. 


If anyone would honestly like to purchase this song it is available on iTunes. It has even made it in the Billboard Hot 100 which to me is absolutely insane and is even praised by a select few.

Tiger Woods

What is the difference between Santa Claus and Tiger Woods? ...Santa stops at 3 ho's...


Everyone knows Tiger. Or at least knows of him and his wins and losses. Tiger Woods has been in the public eye since he was only a child for his incredible golfing ability. Thats not what people really care about though. They want to hear the heartbreak, the infidelities, and the lies. 


In 2004 Tiger Woods married former model, Elin Nordegren. In 2007 they gave birth to their first child 
 Sam Alexis Woods and in 2008 they had their second child  Charlie Axel Woods. Not even a year later reports started flying in about numerous infidelities between Woods and nightclub owners ect. 


No one really paid attention to these accusations until a few days later when Woods left his Orlando home at 2:30 am in his SUV, a 2009 Cadillac Escalade. Woods hit a fire hydrant, a hedge, and finally a tree only a short distance away from the house. A few days after this suspicious crash Woods made a press statement and praised his wife for getting him out of the car. 


The gossip magazine, US Weekly also published a story about a San Diego waitress named Jaimee Grubbs who claimed to have had a two and a half year affair with Woods. She even had voice messages that he had left instructing her to erase his number from her phone because of his wife getting suspicious. The day the article was published Woods made a public apology saying how sorry he was. He is quoted to have said, "I have let my family down."


After this whole situation, more women stated making claims towards Woods and how they had also had affairs with him. On December 11, he finally admitted to infidelity and offered apologies to his wife, kids, and the public. 


Because of these bad decisions, Woods has lost several endorsements and obviously a lot of money. His wife, Elin has also filed for divorce and it finally went through on August 23, 2010. Reports say that Nordegren has recieved a settlement of approximately 100 million dollars. The two have shared custody of the two children.

Charlie Sheen...enough said

"I am on a drug, it's called Charlie Sheen," It's not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body."

Charming isn't he? Charlie Sheen has been the center of gossip for a few weeks now. After literally cussing out his managers, calling them names like "Troll", and demanding more money for the hit TV show, Two and a Half Men, he stars on, the self proclaimed "winning loser" has been officially fired from the cast by CBS. Charlie Sheen has definitely had a bumpy ride down Sunset Blvd all starting from his first taste of the limelight when he was nine years old in his father’s 1974 film The Execution of Private Slovik. 

Sheen was born Carlos Irwin Estevez in New York City. He moved out to California when his father, Martin Sheen, landed a role in the Broadway play, The Subject Was Roses. Sheen decided to become an actor after he was kicked out of Santa Monica High School for poor grades and bad attendance. Sheen was cast as Charlie Harper in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men in 2003 and recieved many nominations and awards for the show.  Many say that his role in Two and a Half Men was loosely based on the drug addicted actor. 

Sheen has faced multiple problems in the with drugs and alcohol.  He has achieved the reputation as a hard partying womanizer and in 1995 Sheen admitted to spending $50,000 on 27 $2,500 a night prostitutes. As of today, Sheen lives at home with his two "Goddesses," Bree Olson and Natty Kenley who take care of him and his two children. Although Sheen's children do not live at home with Sheen, they visit frequently and love the family he has come to call normal. 

Even though Sheen got fired from his hit TV show a few weeks ago he has already found another high paying job. On March 10, 2011, Sheen announced that he would be going on a nationwide tour with his Goddesses called, "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option." The tour will begin in Detroit on April 2, 2011. Obviously people are drawn to the crazy antics of this Hollywood bad boy because the tour sold out in 18 minutes which is a Ticketmaster record.

Sheen has also set a new Guinness World Record for Twitter as the "Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers." It is said that he added an average of 129,000 new followers per day. He has also set the Guinness World Record for "Highest Paid TV Actor Per Episode and was being paid $1.25 million for Two and a Half Men. 

Sheen is known as a bad boy Hollywood womanizer but their are also some memorable quotes that the actor has said; especially on his interview with Good Morning America, that have been trending on twitter for the past few weeks. Here are some of his most memorable quotes:

"I probably took more than anybody could survive. I was banging 7-gram rocks, and finishing them, because that's how I roll. I have one speed, I have one gear: go." 

"Because I'm me. I'm different. I just have a different constitution, a different brain, a different heart, I've got tiger blood man." 

"You borrow my brain for five seconds and just be like 'dude can't handle it, unplug this, because it fires in a way that is, I don't know, maybe not from this terrestrial realm."

"I'm bi-winning. I win here, I win there."

So here he is, Charlie Sheen the self proclaimed "winning loser." People are eating this actor up right now but will he hit a point past no return? How far is too far?

Speidi's Tirade

Recently a feud has been triggered between Bravo Network Executive Andy Cohen and actor Spencer Pratt. The feud all started when Cohen publicly bashed reality "star" Heidi Montag for tweeting about how she wanted to join the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. He replied to this by aggressively stating how he'd "sooner stab ... knives into [his] own eyes than see her on this network." 


This comment along with other harshly said words stunned and enraged Heidi's husband, Spencer Pratt who is widely known for his outbursts on television and the internet. He went off like a ticking time bomb and angrily stated on RadarOnline.com that "If he had such a problem with my wife, why didn't he say something to our faces when we met his arrogant self in NYC." Spencer also said that Cohen's show was hurting in ratings and that he obviously has issues with women as shown through the way he treats the ones that are currently on the network. 

Cohen did not stop there. He kept on talking about Montag and called her things such as "Trash" and the "Jackhole of the Week".  She was reported to be deeply upset by these various comments. Friends say that they will be avoiding the Bravo network from now on because of Cohen's poorly picked words. They also said that after the kinds of shows Cohen puts out, how can he make such comments towards individuals such as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. 



I don't agree with the way Cohen handled this situation at all. To publicly say things that awful on television is a very risky thing to do and now he will have to face the wrath of Spencer Pratt... But he is definitely not the only one at fault here. A fight has now been triggered between him and Pratt that is probably not going to end for a while. This is partly because of all the power Cohen has and the ways he can use said power. Cohen's definitely not going to let Speidi win this one. He also knows that Speidi will do anything to get into the limelight and that the duo is nothing more than Botox infused fame suckers. We'll have to wait and see what happens with this little war and who will end up having the last laugh.
